Group health insurance for Arizona employers

Offering health insurance helps you attract and keep good employees. As an independent broker, Delta 4 Benefits compares plans from the major insurance companies and helps you choose coverage that fits your team and your budget.

Plan types we help you compare

  • PPO plans: a network of preferred providers, with the flexibility to see out-of-network doctors at a higher cost.
  • HMO plans: usually lower premiums, with care coordinated through a primary care physician inside the network.
  • HSA-qualified high-deductible plans: lower premiums paired with a Health Savings Account employees can use tax-free.
  • Plan combinations: many employers offer two or more options so employees can choose what fits them.

How we help

  • Review your current plan, budget and what your employees value most.
  • Shop the market and compare plans side by side in plain language.
  • Explain carrier requirements, such as minimum employer contributions and employee participation.
  • Handle enrollment, including educational meetings for your employees.
  • Help with claims and billing questions all year, and review your plan at every renewal.

Small businesses welcome

You don't need a large company to offer health benefits. We work with small employers as well as growing companies, and we can also explain alternatives such as health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) if a traditional group plan isn't the right fit.

Common questions

How many employees do I need to offer group health insurance?

Many carriers offer small-group plans to businesses with as few as one or two eligible employees, though each carrier sets its own rules. We will tell you what is available for your company.

Do I have to pay for all of my employees' premiums?

No. Carriers usually require the employer to contribute a minimum share of the employee's premium, and the rest can be paid by the employee through payroll deduction. Requirements vary by carrier.

When can I start a group health plan?

Small-group plans can generally be started at any time of year, not just during open enrollment. We can walk you through the timeline.

What does it cost to work with Delta 4 Benefits?

There is generally no separate fee for our help choosing and managing your plan. Brokers are typically paid by the insurance company. Ask us if you have questions about how we are compensated.
